One Word

The following email was sent to all my email friends:

"Describe ME in ONE WORD...just one word!

Send the ONE word to me only, then send this message to your friends and see how many strange things people say about you! This could be fun!

Just hit reply and send me my one word back. Then forward this message on to your friends (including me) and see what they say about you!

GAME ON!!"

First came Rena's response: "Special"
Hmmm...
Was this game a good idea?

Quickly, I responded asking if she meant "licking the windows, kind of special?" She retorted that of course I would fuss at her. She said, she meant a 'Special Friend.'

Isn't that special? Pictures of Saturday Night Live's 'Church Lady' are popping up in my mind! OK, I admit it! I enjoy teasing her!

Briefly after Rena's response, was Shawna's. Divaliscious!

Woohoo! I am a special friend and divaliscious! This IS fun! LOL

Monte replied: Strong

Had a brief moment where I had to recall whether it was her being sacked into her front yard like quarterback at the 10 yard line... Pause for reflection... Nope, that was someone else! Good thing everyone was OK, I would not have been strong enough to pick anyone up!

Pavia came back: Kind

Pavia saying I am Kind? Well, I must admit, his just saying that IS kind. Now I do feel special! However, I am betting he was just trying to be nice!

Rachel's word for me was Fun, This coming from a girl I just watched on a video with her on her knees with a strap around her as if she had been reigned like a horse! Well, if She thinks I am fun, then I must be!

Jen follows to let me know I am Intriguing!
Ahhhh... Mysterous, Missy! Come unlock my mind! A Psychiatrists worst nighmare and a phsychologists money machine!

Nikole states that I am Informative! Well, I honestly do try to enlighten people. Now I feel touched!

Rena comes back regarding my last reply, to tell me she is heading to the beach on vacation today. I realized everyone is happy and excited just before their vacation... Ahhhh... that is why I am special. She is in a good mood. Break an air conditioner, um... errrrr...I mean leg, Bueller!

At this time, I receive an email from someone with the word Independent! I was waiting for that one! That is one thing I always thought I was. However, do I know this person?

An old friend, Shellene, then emails that my word is Passionate and that it is tough to describe me in one word. Now Shellene and I just got back in touch after about 15 years! Was passionate something I was back then or has she already noticed my angst with injustice and how passionately I stand against it? Or is it because of my type of business? Wrong company, but right idea! Since we have been out of touch for about 15 years, I can understand her inability to distinguish me now as to back when she knew me better.

At this point I am wondering why no one has said Crazy yet. I always used to get that... Suppose that I have really calmed down!

Terry Chimes in with Unique.
Yes I am... Unique, just like everyone else! And isn't that what we love about the people in our lives? Each and every one of them are unique in their own way!

Aimee, a sweet girl I met at a party, replies with Funny. This gives me a warm feeling. Since I was starting to think I lost that part of me due to maturity and cynicism overtaking my naivity and teen rebelion.

Aimee was one of the kind and generous people who pledged money for our MS Walk. At this time, I realized I have not checked the status of my fundraising efforts for the MS Walk in a few days. After seeing we have past our goal by $5.00, I am so elated that I take an hour to write a huge thank you note to all my friends and family!

When returning to my email, I find Stephanie's single worded description, is yet again Passionate! Ah, yes it is apparent! After a brief brainstorm session, Stephanie was the one who gave our MS Walk team name, Missy's Motivators. Her reasoning was that I seem to motivate people to do something! What a great compliment!

My cousin, Charlotte, responds with Sensitive. Wow... I don't remember the last time that was said to me! It was usually preceeded by 'too.' Looking back, I am thinking it was my passion unleashed trying to find it's place. I came across as 'too sensitive' because things would upset me easily! Then you grow up to be a cynic! LOL

Maybe Charlotte is correct. Maybe I am still sensitive. This is something I must explore!

Mona emails Righteous. I am reminded of the Bill and Ted movie. This comment is a revelation. For years, I thought I was misinterpreted and perceived as unethical, immoral or improper.
For a long time, I had let it bother me too much.

Ah... then an epiphany! there's the sensitivity! OK, karma... I got your point!

Next day I hear from Kim... one, single word - Horny.
Were my antlers showing?
Because of the parties I do, I suppose everyone assumes I have crazy sex, like swinging from the chandeliers or that I have a sex dungeon! This is a very incorrect assumption!
